Egg Burger from Ferme Avicole Laviolette Ltée

1 tsp butter or margarine 5ml
1 egg
1 Salt and pepper, to taste 
1 slice process cheese
1 hamburger bun, toasted

In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat.  Break egg into skillet. With turner, break yolk and mix slightly with white. Season with salt and pepper.

When egg is set, flip over and cook briefly on the other side. Place cheese on top of egg or on the bottom half of bun. Place egg on bun and cover with remaining half of bun.

Makes 1 serving

Tips:

  • Serve with ketchup, mustard, salsa, or hot sauce.
  • Garnish egg burger with tomato, lettuce, and/or bacon.
