Scalloped Potatoes from Gramma Bep's Gourmet Foods Inc.
4 cups thinly sliced potatoes
1 medium onion
2 tbsp. butter
½ tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. flour
2 cups hot milk*
2 tsp. Gramma Bep’s Season Salt
In a greased casserole dish or roaster place a layer of the sliced potatoes. Sprinkle with half the onion, flour and butter. Add the remaining potatoes, onions, flour and butter. Stir the salt and pepper into the hot milk and pour over the potatoes. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 ½ to 2 hours. Makes six servings.
*Hot milk prevents curdling!
