Winter Fruit Punch from The Cider Keg
½ cup lemon juice
¼ cup granulated sugar
4 cups grapefruit juice
4 cups white grape juice
2 cups orange juice
2 oranges (unpeeled) sliced
1 lemon, sliced
2 bottles (750 ml.) Cider Keg Sparkling Apple Cider
½ cup vodka (optional)
1 ice block
In small saucepan, stir lemon juice with sugar over medium heat until sugar is dissolved.
Let cool.
In a very large bowl or pot, stir together lemon juice mixture, grapefruit juice, grape juice, orange juice, oranges and lemon. Pour into pitchers then cover and refrigerate until chilled. (Punch can be prepared and stored for up to 24 hours.)
To serve, place ice block in punch bowl. Pour in fruit mixture; stir in apple cider and vodka. Makes 25 – ¾ cup servings.
Per serving: about 100 calories, 1 gram protein, trace fat, 25 grams of carbohydrates.
