Cranberries aren't just for Thanksgiving anymore

More people are finding new ways to enjoy the cranberry thanks to Justine and Grant Keefer, owners of Yellowpoint Cranberries in B.C.

The little red berry that packs big taste has been elevated from a holiday rarity to a versatile food to be enjoyed year round.

Using recipes from Grant's grandmother, Justine created a line of 20 cranberry-based foods. “We process only in small batches and it's all by hand,” she says.

From heritage cranberry sauce to freshly bottled cranberry juice to cranberry fusion salsa, all their specialty products are made with their own fresh-picked cranberries.

“We're all about quality products and customer service,” Justine explains.

Fresh cranberries are available at mid-September. And if there are any left, frozen cranberries are available after Thanksgiving until Christmas. Handmade preserves are available all year.
